Pura Vida [poo-rah vee-dah] simply translated means "simple life" or "pure life".

Pura Vida is a Costa Rican expression that encapsulates the relaxed and worry-free culture and the attitude of Hispanic countries. That's the atmosphere Pura Vida Talk provides for our students, allowing to learn a lifetime skill without stress - to learn the Pura Vida way

Shaiska Malca

As a native Spanish speaker, sharing the love for my language and culture has become my passion. I was born and raised in Panama City, Panama where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences and Law. I am the founder of Pura Vida Talk. I love bringing excitement and innovation to education especially when teaching Spanish as a second language.

Our goal is for your child to learn about cultural differences and traditions and have fun while learning a new language. At Pura Vida Talk we believe that a good education shapes not only minds but hearts as well.  By learning a different language and traditions, especially at a young age, we can help students to be culturally appreciative and incorporate Spanish skills into their future lives.

Welcome! We are so glad you found us!
